The Crimson Calathea is basically nature's version of a hand-painted masterpiece. Deep, velvety green leaves are dramatically edged and feathered in rich, jewel-toned crimson, with undersides so intensely red they practically glow. Like all calatheas, she does her nightly prayer plant routine — leaves folding up at dusk, unfurling again at dawn — which never gets old, no matter how many times you've seen it. A little humidity and some consistent care is all she needs to stay absolutely stunning.
SM: ~8–12" tall in a 4" pot.
MD: ~14–18" tall in a 6" pot.
Pro-tip: Brighter light equals a brighter bloom. If it stops blooming altogether, it needs to be moved to higher light.
